As much as I would like Aaron Crow to be the dominant pitcher he was in the first half of last year, there just aren’t many signs of it. He hasn’t been the same since the “baulk-off” against the White Sox last year. Opening Day did not go well for him this year and if he doesn’t turn things around in his next 4-5 outings we will be seeing him pitch in Omaha.

Card #2 in a 2 card series of players who are playing in Omaha to start the year that should be in Kansas City. (Louis Coleman is card 1)
Here is your Kansas City Royals opening day starting catcher…

This was originally a twitter exclusive for #TeamCody. #TeamCody will once again be in AAA Omaha this year but lets hope we see him in KC soon.

This is kind of a cool thing about my custom card spring training set; this will surely be the only card of Greg Golson ever made on the Royals. He was send down and then traded today to the Chicago White Sox. I think he may have only tallied one spring training hit as a Royal. The Royals roster is starting to take shape. Major moves were made today that will effect the Royals opening day roster. More on that later.

Not surprisingly Clint Robinson will begin the 2012 season in AAA for the Omaha Storm Chasers. His hitting is major league ready but their is once again no room in Kansas City for him with Eric Hosmer and Billy Butler filling the First Base and DH roles.
