It’s been too long… To honor the best Royals season in decades, I plan to make a complete set of all 43 players who wore a uniform during the great 2013 campaign in the style of my original custom card design I named “Just Fair.” Let’s hope this sparks me to make more cards and keep up with updates.

Holy crap, has it really been three months since a post? Wow. I’ve been busy over at VocalsOnTop.com writing about music and writing for a few print publications and haven’t noticed. In baseball news the Royals are doing well; better than they have done in the 20+ years I’ve been a fan really. So here is a custom of the newest Royal, a good deadline deal brought Justin Maxwell from the Astros. Here is how it would have looked if he had a 1971 Topps card in 2013. More soon hopefully.

The long awaited major league debut of outfielder David Lough finally happened thanks to September call-ups on September 1st. He batted leadoff in the second game of a doubleheader and collected his first two major league hits going 2-5.
